Cooking noodles

I cooked dinner today for mommy and daddy. Actually, because I am no tall enough, I just sat in the back and told mommy what to cook and how to do it. I tell mommy to first put in some noodles in some water. Mommy usually takes cares of the spices but I'm sure that's not the hard part.


I only know how to make noodles. Funnily enough, noodles are hard for me to eat. I have to eat them one strand at a time.


Maybe I've always known how to make noodles because I'm Chinese. So friends, the next time you come over, I'll make you noodles!

An apple a day keeps the doc away!

An apple fell out of Mommy's lunch box today. I found one apple just as Newton did 300 years ago. However, Newton became famous for his discovery of the Law of Universal Gravitation while I don't know whether I am famous for my discovery that apple tastes better as a whole than the apple slice that Mommy used to feed me.

Mommy says that apple seeds are bad for me, but apple itself is good. By chewing on it, my teeth get cleaned naturally (well, I am not quite sure about this part).

Besides apple, I like many other fruits, like bananas, kiwi fruits, watermelons, pears, etc. I only get a slice usually, nothing tastes better than a whole apple.

I should tell Mommy that an apple a day keeps the doc away.

I know why. I stole Mommy's sunglasses. She doesn't use them now, why doesn't she just give them to me?

What did I do today?

I met a immigrant dog today!

Mommy always tells me that I am originally from China. The ancient king bred my breed -- the loyal and entertaining PUG.

I have never been to China. I am bilingual though, Chinese and English. Mommy lately is teaching me Japanese -- starting from sayonara. I don't like this word, every time she says it, she goes away, and leaves me alone.

On the way to Whole Foods, we met a yellow lab. He is a rescue dog, rescued from Taiwan. Wow, I am jealous that he even has an immigration paper, and he traveled around the world. I tried to speak Chinese with him, but his Chinese is rusty. He said that he almost forgets all the Chinese because nobody speaks to him in Chinese here. He wants me to visit him more. So we'll update with some pix next time when I see him.

I had a dream just now, that I became a immigrant dog too!

Hiking at the Foothills!

Daddy and mommy took Dante and I to do some hiking at the Foothills Open Space Preserve in Palo Alto. The view was very nice, and there were hardly anyone else there!

It was really hot today, so I couldn't even make it back to the starting point! I just bummed around in the shade in soft mulch for 20 mins before moving on. Dante just anxiously waited while I gathered myself.

On the car-ride back, Dante and I were so tired that we just piled together in the car. That's my mommy in the back.

I am a good boy!

I am a good boy! I know that sometimes I pout, sometimes I destroy stuff, and sometimes I pee at daddy's backpack when I am mad..., but generally I am a good boy!

Mommy came home a little bit late today, I don't know what happened. I stayed at home longer than usual. Sigh, holding pee and poo for that long is not usual, but I still managed it. I didn't get mad at Mommy today, I peed outside in the yard and inside in the box. I love Mommy! She looks tired.

After dinner, Mommy took me to a quick walk. It was very windy outside, and I liked it! Tree leaves were dancing in the wind, one more thing to chase. Then we went shopping. Sigh, why does she like shopping? It's so boring!

We came back from shopping not that long ago. As usual, I waited in the bathroom when mommy took shower till she wiped my face, but again she insisted wiping my legs and legs. Sigh, but I revenged by stealing her pantie. Speaking of pantie, daddy said that one guy returned his used yellowish underwear the other day at Costco by using a new receipt. He claimed those underwear to be defective. Yak, apparently, he doesn't want to pay for his underwear, what a cheap ass! People, don't abuse the good policies!

Mommy didn't take any new pix today, and I don't know how to use the camera. Sigh, here's one from last night.

Dante came over just earlier, and we had a good game of catch-and-chase. Haha -- that clumsy giant can't outrun me in my own house! I can fit under tables and make tight turns. That big lug will pretty much run over everything. Yay for the nimble thimble!

That game of tag tired me out. I play hard, and I rest even harder!

I'm a foodie!

My meals have been getting better and better recently!

When I was but a young bumbling pug puppy, I was fed Pedigree dry food. Then it was Hill's Science Diet. I then was transitioned to rice and lamb wet food. Lately I've been getting Cesar Milan. And today, mommy gave me steak beef!

I hope that mommy and daddy knows that I want beef everyday!

After dinner, I had a pineapple. Well, half of a pineapple. Yummers!

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter everyone!

We didn't really celebrate. Daddy stayed in bed until noon today, and I joined him!

In the afternoon, we went for a hike again at a nearby mountain. Mommy is always afraid that we would run into Coyotes! Mommy says that there was a coyote that wanted to eat me, but I didn't see anything.

At night, mommy decided to pile all my toys together. It was so annoying! So when she wasn't looking, I stole her homework and started eating it!

My favorite toy on Good Friday

Mommy is busy working on an assignment, so I have been busy entertaining myself. Daddy is around, but it's more fun to bother mommy once in a while.

My choice of favorite toy today is an environmentally friendly one: I like to play with my Smart Water bottle. It's just big enough that I can't easily grab it, and it's fun to chase it around! Sometimes I chase it into a corner, and my face would be too flat to get it. So mommy or daddy would have to get it for me.

Mommy has been talking about starting a blog for me, taking and posting my celebrity shots for a while. She has many excuses and been really really lazy. I love her and I forgive her, she's 1L right now, what can I do about that?
